Conférence sur les assurances en Allemagne
Consumer Protection and Insurance System in Germany
19.02.2025 18:00 - 21:00
Languages : English and German
Target Audience : HR professionals in companies and expats / international specialists
Specialists and executives in Germany benefit from comprehensive insurance coverage. Statutory social insurance for employees – encompassing health, pension, unemployment, nursing care, and accident insurance – is mandatory and provides basic security. Additionally, private insurance options allow for voluntary extensions of coverage in numerous areas of life.To present the opportunities offered by these additional forms of protection and to bring clarity to the complex insurance system, we warmly invite HR professionals and their international employees to our event. The focus will be on voluntary insurance policies, such as personal liability insurance, household contents insurance, and other valuable types of coverage that can address personal and professional risks. However, these additional insurances remain optional.
The experienced and independent speakers from the Consumer Advice Centre / Verbraucherzentrale NRW e.V. will provide well-founded insights into consumer protection and the German insurance system. The presentations will be held in English, specifically targeting expats and international professionals, as well as HR managers in local and international companies, to offer them clear and comprehensible information on the topic of insurance coverage in Germany.
Following the presentation, you will have the opportunity to ask your individual questions and engage with the insurance expert as well as other participants. You will also learn more about the important role of the Consumer Advice Centres in Germany and how it assists you as a policyholder in asserting your rights. Verbraucherzentrale NRW e.V. is one of 16 consumer advice centres in Germany. It is an independent organisation that represents consumer interests and advocates for fair trade and safe products.
