The Art:walk Festival will be a new cultural festival for Düsseldorf starting in 2026. This new cultural event builds on the well-known concept of Night of the Museums and takes it further. The festival will break new ground : between day and night, museum and stage, indoors and outdoors.

Visit the museum at night, go to the theater during the day—experience more than 50 cultural venues in an unusual way. Over two days, doors and outdoor spaces will open for a colorful kaleidoscope of exhibitions, performances, and productions. Immerse yourself in Düsseldorf’s culture and experience it in all its facets – on stages, in exhibition spaces, or simply in the city’s parks and squares.
